Bode Pedro

Bode Adegboyega Pedro - fondly known as “Mr. Technology”- is the founder, chief executive officer and chief technical officer of VEDA. He started up the company with an unprecedented vision: to inspire the growth and development of computer technology in Africa through cutting-edge innovation and excellent solutions. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Bode’s fascination with computers began at the tender age of 8, and by 13, he tutored children and adults on computer literacy at Omatek Ventures. By the age of 14, he began designing websites and assembling computers, and he made money by selling his services directly to friends and students.By his sophomore year at the University of Maryland, he bought, upgraded and re-sold computers from his college apartment. Upon graduation, he decided to move back to Nigeria to be a part of the social, cultural and economic renaissance, and he embarked on an incredible journey that has led to the formation of a computer designing, developing and manufacturing company in the heart of Lagos.

As the VEDA Technology CEO, Bode Pedro is tasked with overseeing the company's business strategy and national market penetration with an expected 40% growth in sales in for the year, 2010.
Pedro and his management team initiated the key to VEDA's remarkable growth -- the Efficient Supply Chain Business Model. This model encourages partners and suppliers to join VEDA and create a winning formula for supply-chain management. In so doing, VEDA has built up an efficient supply chain and service network that provides customers with competitive pricing, fresh technologies, and quality service.
In 2009, Bode Pedro received the Young IT & Telecoms Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Nigerian Telecoms Awards held in Lagos, Nigeria, becoming the youngest ever recipient of the prestigious award.

Olufemi Sunday Olaiya (CMO)

He is an engineer by profession andhas over twenty years experience in the IT industry having worked in Intelligent Systems Technology, Digital editions, Slumberger Informations Solutions (SIS) and Information Connectivity Solutions Limited (ICSL). He joined VEDA Technology Limited from Information Connectivity Solutions Limited where he was Sales and Marketing Manager saddled with the responsibilities that included redesigning and developing a new business model that made ICSL competitive in pricing, coordinated and supervised solutions selling. He led ICSL expansion into neighbouring West African countries to name but a few. Prior to that he was the Account Manager of Slumberger Information Solution where he brought in a new account within three months of joining the sales force, which was unusual at the time as well as assisted Finance and accounts to collect some receivables that were more than 360days old on inherited accounts. Femi has a BSc, Engineering Physics, (Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife,) and an MBA Candidate, Major in Business Strategy (Lagos Business School).

Rose Elachi

Rose is an experienced accountant with specialization in Financial Management. He has over 25 years of professional experience split between accounting and logistics. Prior to joining VEDA Technology Limited, Rose was the Chief Accountant of Ferrosal (Nig) Limited and Group Head, Supply Chain & Logistics of Omatek Ventures Plc where she was responsible for debt recovery and stringent management of suppliers to attain quarterly and year-end sales targets respectively. Rose holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Lagos State University and an MBA Candidate, Major in Financial Management (Lagos State University).
